An extra-special celebration…

I recently found out that one of my best friends would be retiring from work- she takes me on holiday and loves me so much, so of course I had to do something to make her retirement extra-special! After lots of careful consideration, I had a lovely idea…

…I was going to surprise her on her last day at work!

I wrote a list of all the lovely things I could do and chose the ones I knew would make her the happiest: giving her a bundle of wonderful Boofle goodies including a knitted soft toy (I knew she would love this one the most!), sharing a plate of her favourite cupcakes AND of course, no celebration would be complete without a lovely Boofle card, handwritten by me!  

Then the time came to bring it all to life and do the actual surprising. Me and my friends at Boofle Towers were so excited! We trundled off to find her and let the celebrations begin – we had planned to sneak up on her, but as snugglesome as I might be, I’m also very noticeable, so I was spotted the second I walked through the door! After a great big cuddle, we shared the cupcakes and I handed over her lovely gifts. As expected, she was delighted.

It was lovely to give my wonderful friend the retirement celebration she deserved.
